This way, when someone does a WHOIS lookup on your domain name, they’ll see fictitious information rather than your private details. With this option activated, you won’t ever have to be worried that someone might use your address or phone number to bother you.

The WHOIS protection option is available with most of the domains offered on our website and you can find it in the Domain Manager integrated into your Control Panel.

Our Domain Manager offers a big set of controls for managing all your domains Through its intuitive interface, you can lock & unlock your domain name, change its DNS settings and your WHOIS settings, set up an unlimited number of subdomain names or start a domain transfer procedure straight away.

For your convenience, the Domain Manager is built into the web hosting Control Panel. From there, you can also shield your domain name registration details using the Whois Privacy Protection functionality and secure your e–shop with SSL certificates.

If you’ve got only a domain name with New York Cheap Hosting, and yet you also desire to move your site(s) to our web hosting platform, you can merely move to one of our cloud hosting plans. You will be able to add a wildcard domain with a single click from the Control Panel–integrated Domain Manager interface. Just push the Add Host button on the right and you will see the Wildcard option at the bottom of the dialogue box.

When registering a domain, you need to provide precise WHOIS information and also to keep it up to date at all times. If you want to update your e–mail or home address, or if you aim to transfer the domain to someone else, you can accomplish that through the Domain Manager interface.

Simply hit the Edit WHOIS button next to the domain in question and edit the corresponding registrant, administrative and technical info. When you hit the Update button, the changes will be momentarily reflected online.
